Eligibility:
Thai Citizens who are applying for Child Passport, first they must check their eligibility
- Applicant must be a Citizen of Thailand
- Applicant’s Age must be below 18 years
Process Applying for Thai Child Passport:
Step 1: Visit the nearest Passport office along with you parents (One Parent presence is mandatory)
Step 2: Take a Queue number
Step 3: you will get Passport application form when your number comes
Step 4: Fill the complete application form with correct details, your application must be signed by your both parents
Step 5: Attach the required documents
Step 6: Submit the completely filled application form along with the required documents
Step 7: After the verification of your certificates & your passport application form, the authorized person will take your biometric data.
Step 8: Biometric data consists of your Photo, Finger prints & Signature
Step 9: Pay the Prescribed fees (fees can be paid by Cash/Credit card/Debit card)
Step 10: After the successful completion of all the above process you will get an Acknowledgement which contains your Passport application number keep it for further reference
Step 11: By showing your Acknowledgement, you can collect your passport after 2 working days.
Note1:
- Thai Citizens who are applying for the Child passport, both the parents should sign the applicant’s Passport application form
- If one of the Parents cannot make it then the applicant can submit the Notarized Parental consent form
- If one of the Parents is expired or parents are divorced then the legal guardian must appear and sign the application form
Note2:
- Thai Citizens who are applying for passport outside from Bangkok city, they have to pay the postal charges to receive their Passport by registered post
- Thai Citizens who are applying for the passport from outside the Bangkok city, they can get their passport by registered post within 5-7 working days.
- Thai Citizens who are applying for the passport, they must apply in person because the applicant must provide the biometric data
Documents Required:
Thai Citizens who are applying for Passport in person must possess the following original Certificates
- Completely filled Passport Application form
- Birth Certificate
- Parents Valid Thai Citizenship Certificate
- Parental Consent
- Parents Marriage Certificate
- Passport Fees receipt
Note:
- Thai Citizens who are applying for the passport, they must submit their original certificates.
- Photocopies of the certificates will not be accepted

Step 5: Attach the required documents
Step 6: Submit the completely filled application form along with the required documents
