Eligibility:
Applicants who are applying for Canadian Passport renewal, first they must check their eligibility
- Applicant must be a Canadian Citizen
- Applicant must hold a Valid or most recent Passport( not more than 1 year)
- Applicant’s existing Passport must be issued when the applicant is 16 years of age or above
Documents Required:
Canadian Citizens who are applying for Passport renewal must submit the following original Certificates
- Completely filled Passport Application form
- Current/Most recent Canadian Passport
- 2 Identical & Most recent Photos
Process for Applying Canadian Adult Passport online:
Step 1: Visit the Official Passport website
Step 2: Check your eligibility
Step 3: After confirming the eligibility, fill the complete application form with correct details & take the print of the filled application form
Step 4: Attach 2 most recent & identical photographs
Step 5: Attach the required documents
Step 6: Find 2 References & mention their contacts in your Passport application form
Step 7: Pay the prescribed fees (fees can be paid by Credit card/Debit card/Certified Cheque/Money order)
Step 8: Lodge your application form personally at your nearest Passport Office or send it by mail

- If the applicant is in hurry it’s better to apply Passport at the nearest Passport office, because the applicants who apply their passport in person at the Passport office they can get the Passport within 10 working days.
- Applicants who are having time they can apply online & send the application form by mail.
Passport Fees:
- Passport (10 years validity) – $120
- Passport (5 years validity) – $160
Mode of Payment:
Passport fees can be paid by Credit card or Debit Card or Certified cheque or Money order

Lodging the Application Form:
Applicants after completing all the above formalities, Passport application form can be submitted personally at their nearest passport office or the Applicants who are applying online they can send the application form by mail.

Collecting Passport:
After the successful submission of your passport application form along with photos & required documents
- Applicants who applied their passport in person they can get the Passport in person within 10 working days.
