Process Applying for Child Passport online:

Step 1: Visit the Official Passport website

Step 2: Check your eligibility

Step 3: After confirming the eligibility, fill the complete application form with correct details & take the print of the filled application form

Step 4: Attach 2 most recent & identical photographs

Step 5: Passport application form & one of the photos of the applicant must be attested by a Counter Signatory

Step 6: Attach the required documents & Parental Consent

Step 7: Pay the prescribed fees (fees can be paid by Credit card/Debit card)

Step 8: You can submit your application form in person along with your parents

Step 9: After the Successful submission of your Passport application form you will get a letter from HM post office to book an appointment for Passport Interview

Step 10: You can confirm the appointment by phone

Step 11: On the day of Interview, you will be asked about your personal details

Step 12: After the Successful completion of your Interview, you will get your Passport within 6 weeks

Application Process Time:

After the successful submission of your passport application form along with photos & required documents, you will get your passport by registered post for the address you mentioned in the application form within 3 weeks.
